You Can't Have
Early Symptoms of Fibromyalgia

How do you know whether the symptoms you are experiencing are Early Symptoms of Fibromyalgia of something else? Well, your symptoms HAVE to be in the 'Something Else' category because Fibromyalgia is a SYMPTOM and not a disease- and you can't have early symptoms of a symptom now can you?

Early Symptoms of Fibromyalgia
Are Not Due to Fibromyalgia

If you are wondering what I mean, what I mean is that Fibromyalgia is NOT a disease- it is actually a SYNDROME. And there is a BIG difference between a disease and a syndrome.

A syndrome is simply a collection of symptoms. So when doctors take your early symptoms of fibromyalgia and give you the BIG diagnosis of 'Fibromyalgia'- it is meaningless. Some people get scared and upset when they find out that they have Fibromyalgia, but if you look at what the word Fibromyalgia MEANS, you will find that what they are telling you is completely meaningless:

Fibromyalgia Definition

Fibro= Connective Tissue
Myo= Muscle
Algia= Pain
Fibromyagia=Connective Tissue and Muscle Pain

Wow! What a revelation. Do you REALLY needed a doctor to tell you that? Fibromyalgia is NOT a disease, but a symptom in and of itself. When Diagnosing Fibromyalgia, your doctor is saying that you have an incurable disease- but you only have a collection of Symptoms. Symptoms have CAUSES, Fibromyalgia is a SYMPTOM- not a cause and not a disease.

So, when your doctor says that you have Early Symptoms of Fibromyalgia and gives you this 'Diagnosis', all it means is that he is ACKNOLEDGING your symptoms and saying that they are similar to symptoms that a lot of other people have. But this does NOT get you any closer to finding a solution to your problem. And in fact, this gets you FURTHER away from a solution.

Those with Fibromyalgia in Children and Adults now have a 'Diagnosis' in which there is no known cause or cure. On top of that, your doctor can can feel good about NOT looking any further for your problems because researchers are 'working on' a cure and you'll just have to wait (maybe years- maybe decades) for researchers to 'prove' that fibromyalgia is, at least in part, due to some rational and FIXABLE reason- like those that I outline on the Fibromyalgia Cause page.

What's In a Diagnosis?

If you have early symptoms of Fibromyalgia such as:

PLEASE resist getting a diagnosis and read the Fibromyalgia Cause and Diagnosing Fibromyalgia pages to understand that these symptoms are FREQUENTLY misdiagnosed as 'Fibromyalgia' and getting 'The Diagnosis' will EFFECTIVELY END the process of finding answers for YOU right now.

The Causes of These Early
Symptoms of Fibromyalgia

Body Pains

Body Pains- even the severe all over body pains, deep bone pains and Fibromyalgia Trigger Points all can be due to many Fixable causes. Pain From Vitamin D Deficiency is one of the most common causes of misdiagnosed Fibromyalgia pain. Read the Fibromyalgia and Vitamin D page to learn about how the symptoms are often SO SIMILAR as to be indistinguishable.

There are also many many effectiveTreatments for Peripheral Neuropathy and the nerve pain that is commonly experienced as 'Fibromyalgia'. Pain is also VERY frequently one of the Signs of Magnesium Deficiency and the connection between Fibromyalgia and Magnesium is so strong that I've written it's own page.

Sleep disturbances

Sleep disturbances are often one of the earliest of the early symptoms of fibromyalgia. These sleep disturbances may actually be one of the PRIMARY causes of what people experience as Fibromyalgia. Sleep deprivation experiments in completely healthy subjects have INDUCED the early symptoms of fibromyalgia only to have those symptoms go away completely when sleep was restored.

Getting your sleep disturbances fixed should be #1 Priority. And again, insomnia is one of the classic Signs of Magnesium Deficiency. Other supplements that can help are:

Melatonin for Sleep

and/or

Methylcobalamin B12

have both restored sleep patterns in those with Signs of Fibromyalgia.

Fatigue

Fatigue is one of the hallmark Signs of Fibromyalgia that is often the biggest complaint. It is worsened in a never ending cycle by the pain and sleeplessness that leads to worsening fatigue that leads to worsening pain, etc. But this fatigue is often due to, again, FIXABLE problems such as a combination of:

While these problems can be EXTREMELY severe, they are generally able to be remedied. Food allergies like Gluten Sensitivity often play a HUGE role in the experience of fatigue.

Brain Fog

Brain fog and general inability to concentrate are often early symptoms of fibromyalgia that are most frequently due to sleep disturbances. Even one night of poor sleep can lead to impaired concentration- even hallucinations and psychosis- in the healthiest people. So, the brain fog that is part of the Early Symptoms of Fibromyalgia is absolutely no mystery when sleep is poor. And poor sleep can be due to many things including:

This poor ability to concentrate can also be due to mercury toxicity. Mercury toxicity used to be known as the 'Mad Hatter's Disease' because hat-makers used mercury and became 'Mad as a Hatter'- leading to the character in Alice in Wonderland. But this wisdom has fallen by the wayside and doctors today don't 'believe' in mercury toxicity.

Gluten Sensitivity is a well known cause of neurologic problems that doctors choose to not look for, and Mental Changes from B12 Deficiency can be particularly devastating because they so often go unrecognized.

And finally, yeast waste products from an the medically unrecognized condition of Intestinal Candida can lead to brain fog and impaired concentration.

These early symptoms of Fibromyalgia are VERY OFTEN due to nutritional deficiencies, hormonal issues, infections, food allergies and profound toxicities that doctors are simply NOT going to look for. If you are suffering from these early symptoms of fibromyalgia, then you are going to need to be proactive and insistent about finding the Fibromyalgia Cause or causes that are affecting you.

 You may find that doctors, support groups and others with Fibromyalgia will strenuously disagree with this view and will urge you to see Fibromyalgia as an incurable disease and to accept it. You can choose to listen to this viewpoint if you wish to, however, it will effectively cut off any hope of you finding a reason and a solution to your symptoms.

But if you choose to not accept the diagnosis of an incurable disease and choose to pursue these RESEARCH-PROVEN EFFECTIVE solutions, when your Early Symptoms of Fibromyalgia improve, then you can spread the word to other people about solving their problems before they get this awful diagnosis. Don't let this happen to you and don't allow this to happen to others…
