Blood Pressure Help...

Hi Diane,

Well, so your situation is really interesting because I HIGHLY suspect that you have undiagnosed Celiac Disease- EVEN IF you've been tested for it and have been told that you DON'T have it!

If you have tested negative for Celiac Disease, then read my page on Diagnosing Gluten Allergy and Non Celiac Gluten Intolerance.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, then please read my page on Symptoms of Gluten Intolerance to see what Celiac and other problems with gluten are.

If you read my Causes of B12 Deficiency, you'll see that for those who are not vegetarians, there are few 'good' reasons to be Vitamin B12 deficient except that you have Gluten Sensitivity and/or you have significantly decreased acid production and/or you have the H Pylori Bacteria.

Any and all of these problems are likely to be causing your B12 deficiency AND leading to OTHER nutrient deficiencies. And high blood pressure is a HUGE Sign of Magnesium Deficiency!!

So, another thing is that your doctor is SEVERELY UNDERTREATING you for your vitamin deficiencies. Please read my Vitamin D Deficiency Treatment page to see that you should be taking AT LEAST twice that dose to treat your vitamin d deficiency. And if the b12 has not improved your fatigue, then read my Vitamin B12 Deficiency Treatment page to see how you might feel much better on higher dosages.

My Sister was Dying-Allergic to Blood Pressure Meds
by: Sherry

My Sister had a transfusion 9 yrs ago where she was than given 2 yrs to live by the Mayo. Respiratory, Fibromyalgia, Epstein Barr, IBS, Artherosclerosis, Osteopenia, Mast Cell Disease (Allergic to everything, including self, food and drugs), Thyroid, Urticaria skin rash, Severe Candida, Chronic Fatigue and Inflamation. Needless to say with much research she is still alive.

But this summer was another scary near death time she emailed a picture of a very distorted face which at 1st I did not recognize, wow it was my sister and it was from the blood pressure meds. Her PRESSURE was 200/101 and the water pill was drying up her biggest organ, her skin so you can imagine how dehydrated dry she was on the inside. We were also told the thyroid meds were 50% damaging to her body, but she desparately needed. I believe the Vitamin D3 was part of her turning around - within 2 mths it was 140/75, she was breathing deep and had more strength, was getting more oxygen in her body and getting her blood vessels cleaned.

She couldn't perspire or grow hair on her legs for 9 yrs, since transfusion and she is NOW. She's been on B12 shots, because pills just don't absorb well. It's been a 9 yr ride of trying to find answers and Vitamin D3 has been a huge part to Bev. I never knew til this summer how huge it is for the immune system and all.

I will soon be having another Cardio test done on her to see where her Atherosclerosis is at. This Doctor I work with is 73 yrs old and has blood vessels of a 15 yr. old. We are 60 and looking forward to reversing our cardiovascular 80 to 90,000 miles of blood vessels. She also has strength in her legs that she has not had for years. Hang in there, there is hope, just have to take enough and know what is too much.

Blessings from Minnesota
