Will Someone Please Help Me With H Pylori?

Is there any doctors that will want to do testing or studying on me for! Im a 33yr old mother of 3, i was decently healthy until 3 yrs ago i went to a family members to eat taco soup, the next day i got to the ER, With extreme stomach pain, and tested positive for H-pylori!! Since then the past 3yrs have been a miserable, lonely, depressing & painful nightmare!

Ive had at least 10 rounds of the triple antibiotic therapy, that ive treated at the er and family dr, ive fasted, ate yougat for weeks, i live in pain, sometimes i lay in bed and just pray to die! Ive asked my family dr to inspect me for international parasites, as i detect them in my stool, and all my research ive conducted myself, i wonder if theres a link! Something has got to give, ive gotten myself on Topamax for depression. Im so desperate!

H pylori doesn't send you to the ER with stomach pain the next day.

Hi Mindy,

I'm so sorry that you are feeling so terrible. However, I want to make sure that you understand that H pylori does not send you to the ER the day after eating some taco soup containing H pylori and you would not have tested positive the next day after being infected with H pylori.

So the fact that you tested positive for H pylori is completely and entirely separate from the taco soup incident. I am 100% sure that you had H pylori LONG before you ate the taco soup.

So, while it sounds like you do need to get rid of the H pylori, you are probably being harmed worse by being given antibiotics so many times. Not to mention that you are obviously not being treated for the reasons WHY you are unable to eliminate the H pylori. There is obviously a REASON why antibiotics are not eradicating your H pylori, and simply giving you more antibiotics over and over again is not fixing this problem.

Antibiotics have downsides, and taking antibiotics so many times could actually be making you worse and contributing to your symptoms!

So, what problems could this be? Well, you could actually BE getting rid of H pylori each time, but someone you have close contact with could be reinfecting you, even if they do not have any symptoms!

The other problem is that your immune system might not be strong enough to fight off this infection. You cannot rely 100% on the antibiotics to eliminate the infection, it only eliminates the majority of the infection and your immune system has to take care of the rest. If your immune system is poor, then you cannot eliminate the infection that is left over after the antibiotics do their job.
