my boyfriend has h. pylori and doesn't want me to give it back to him

by Rai

my boyfriend has been horribly sick for months, just got diagnosed with h. pylori and is about to start treatment. I... think I probably have it too, but don't have troublesome symptoms. we eat mostly organic, home-cooked foods, grassfed meats, and emphasize vegetables, with only very occasional forays into the forbidden land of processed foods. My immune system has always been a rock for which I am very grateful.

my question is, do I have to take antibiotics too for him to stay better?

I don't want to.

Good Idea to Get Tested
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Hi Rai,

It's a VERY good idea for you to get tested. If you have it, then you can get treated for it, and you don't necessarily have to take antibiotics. I give an all herbal protocol in my book The H Pylori Solution. I personally used the exact herbal protocol in the book to get rid of my H pylori without antibiotics.

So, first, you don't necessarily need to do ANYTHING. Just get tested and then you can go from there. It's not a 'given' that you have H pylori just because your boyfriend does -and you don't need to get treated if you don't have it since a) There is nothing to get rid of and b) You can't give the infection back to him if you don't have it. So, get tested and if you're positive, you can figure out what to do about it then.
