How Much Melatonin Should I Be Taking?

by chris

I was a herion addict for several years before my overdose... It has bin a few years now sense my overdose and besides some short term memory loss the only other real problem I have is sleep... Because I don't have energy from the opieats I don't do much during the day and can't sleep at night. Just recently I got a job at pizza hut and even going to work I notice I can't fall asleep at night without smoking g a lot of pot or taking a lot of over the counter sleeping pills...

Kind of a sad life really but every day I wake up n try a little more than the day before and try to do everything the best I can but still find myself displeased with life itself.... I dont know where I'm going with this so this is where I will end my rant but is melatonin a good thing for my sleep and how much should I take sense my drug tolerance is so high??

Since it's used to HELP addictions, it makes no difference whether you have a high tolerance for other drugs.

Rapid reversal of tolerance to benzodiazepine hypnotics by treatment with oral melatonin: a case report, the woman in question completely overcame her addition to Benzos with 1 mg of melatonin daily. Your tolerance to other drugs is irrelevant, and worth trying out melatonin for both your drug usage and for sleep.
