Vitamin D Level is Going up
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Hi LM,

Your vitamin d level is not going down, but going up. Your 1,25 OH D Level is going down, but that is NOT the vitamin d level that you are interested in. You need to only look at the 25 Hydroxyvitamin D total. That is your 'Vitamin D' level.

As far as your calcium level, it's been high twice and so you need to please make sure that you read the website at Parathyroid.com and you'll understand better why your high calcium, even with a normal parathyroid level, is a problem that you need to be discussing with an endocrinologist who specializes in parathyroid problems.

Good luck.

How To Dose Magnesium While Taking High Dosage V-C
by: Arnie

OK, I am taking high dosage Vit C and lysine, primarily for high cholesterol and arterial plaque. Through your website I have become convinced that I should be taking magnesium with my D.

However, as I understand it, setting the dosage correctly for both magnesium and V-C, involves loose stools as an indicator.

So how do I set my magnesium dosage while taking high dosage V-C

Thanks for your website and your service. I have learned a ton.

Couple of ways
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Hi Arnie,

Sorry to get back to this subject so late, but I finally did. OK, so there are a couple of ways that you can get around this issue.

The first is to use Transdermal Magnesium Gel and/or Magnesium Bath Flakes to get your magnesium. Absorbing magnesium through your skin absolutely DOES work and it doesn't affect the digestive tract nearly as much.

You could also use a combination of transdermal and oral mag products and or a special formulation of Vitamin C called BioEner-C that is specially formulated to be used for MegaDosing vitamin c as it causes much less gastrointesinal issues and is also much less acidic.

So, any combination of those products should help you to be able to take some magnesium while you are also megadosing on Vitamin C.

Hope this helps...
