Can H Pylori Still Cause Symptoms Even After Eradication?

My husband had a horrible bout if h pylori 3 yrs ago. He is now suffering from extreme exhaustion and diarrhea. Possible anemia. We have been to a cardiologist thinking it might be related to his heart. But, it is not. Can the h pylori still be in his system and causing these symptoms?

Did he get tested?

Did he get tested after his H Pylori Treatment? If not, he needs to get an

H Pylori Stool Test to find out. If you read on the H pylori treatment page above, you'll see that H pylori treatment fails 1/3 of the time. So, if your doctor did not retest after his treatment, then he was quite negligent. This is standard to do after treatment.
