taking Vitamin D2. Otherwise, the Total Vitamin D of 40 ng/ml is the only one that you are concerned with.

And since your level is 40 ng/ml, that's really good. If you look at my page Normal Vitamin D Levels, you'll see that your level is in the 'optimal' range according to most researchers.


If you are suffering from any chronic health problems, then you may want to speak to your doctor about getting your levels a big higher, but if you are otherwise healthy, then this level is sufficient. You may want to consider getting a maintenance Vitamin D 3 Supplement in order to keep your levels in the optimal range.
