Vitamin D Level of 4 and Chronic Fatigue
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Wow! A Vitamin D Level of 4 ng/ml. That is REALLY Low. Please get to your doctor and ask for AGRESSIVE treatment ASAP.

Your symptoms of chronic fatigue could very well just be misdiagnosed Vitamin D deficiency, so getting your Vitamin D Level treated so that it is ABOVE 40 ng/ml is imperative and could greatly help your 'Chronic Fatigue'.

It's a shame that doctors are not finding and treating Vitamin D Deficiency and/or Vitamin B 12 Deficiency before giving someone a diagnosis of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

These two deficiencies are WIDESPREAD affecting SO many people with these problems, and they are SO simple and easy to fix, it's a crime to not look for them before giving someone a label of a lifelong chronic illness that there are virtually no effective treatments for!!

So, thank you for writing in because you are the perfect case to show how widespread Vitamin D Deficiency is. You live in southern Florida and get lots of sun exposure, but you are still Vitamin D Deficient!!

Sadly, this is typical and possibly why doctors don't catch Vitamin D Deficiency - because they think that their patients SHOULDN'T be Vitamin D Deficient. And most people can't believe that they COULD be Vitamin D Deficient, so they don't ask about it.

Another problem that you likely have is Vitamin B 12 Deficiency and possibly a Magnesium Deficiency.
So, the next time you see your doctor, ask for:

Agressive Vitamin D Replacement
Repeat Vitamin D Level in 2 to 3 months
Vitamin B 12 level
Calcium Level
Magnesium Level

These should cover some bases for other problems that could be associated with your Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

But it sounds as though you have a LOT of health issues going on all at once. This is NOT coincidence! It's likely due to some underlying health problems such as multiple nutritional deficiencies, Intestinal Candida Symptoms, food allergies and almost certainly Gluten Sensitivity. Just taking vitamin d and/or a couple of other vitamins is not likely to help you. You are going to need to make some serious serious changes in your lifestyle and diet if you want to start getting better.
