VITAMIN D DEFICIENT AND HYPERTENSION, METABOLIC SYNDROME, & DEPRESSION

by ROBERTA
(VA)

I HAVE LOW VITAMIN D. I AM TAKING 4000 I.U. PER DAY. I AM BEING TREATED FOR TREATMENT RESISTANT DEPRESSION,(PRISTIQUE) HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE(ATENOLOL, NORVASC, LISINIPRIL), & HIGH CHOLESTEROL (WELLCHOL AND NIASPAN).

I CAN'T TAKE STATINS BECAUSE OF CPK BLOOD TEST SHOWED LOW AND I ACHE ALL THE TIME. I HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH METABOLIC SYNDROME (OR BORDERLINE DIABETES). I AM TIRED ALL THE TIME
MY HAIR IS THINNING AS WELL AS MY EYEBROWS, I HAVE ACNE BAD.

I PERIODICALLY HAVE SPONTANEOUS HUMAN COMBUSTION (nOT HOT FLASHES, OR NIGHT SWEATS) THE DOCTOR SAYS I AM DONE WITH MENOPAUSE BY THE BLOOD TESTS DONE. I HAVE ALWAYS HAD A PROBLEM WITH SWEATING. I SWEAT PROFUSELY.

THEY CAN'T KEEP BLOOD PRESSURE STABLE. IT JUMPS AROUND. I JUST HAD NUCLEAR STRESS TEST AND IT WAS THE FIRST TIME IT HAS COME IN GOOD. THE DOCTOR SAYS IT HAD IMPROVED AND I WAS NOW AT LITTLE RISK OF HEART ATTACK OR STROKE.

I DID HAVE CAROTOID ARTERY SURGERY DONE WHEN I WAS 45 AND THEY DIAGNOSED ARTERIALSCLEROSIS.
IS IT POSSIBLE THAT ALL OF THESE THINGS ARE TIED TO THE VITAMIN D DEFICIENCY? I AM 55 YEARS OLD AND HAVE GAINED 20 POUNDS SINCE LAST SUMMER.

Lots of Health Problems...
by: Kerri Knox, RN-The Immune Health Queen!

Hi Roberta,

You don't say what your Vitamin D Level is, but if you were low, 4000 IU's per day may not be enough to correct that. Is is 4000 IU's or Vitamin D3? Or are you using Prescription Vitamin D that you got from the pharmacy with a doctor's prescription (that is Vitamin D2). Usually, doctors will treat Vitamin D Deficiency with about 50,000 IU's per week which is about 7000 IU's per day.

But in answer to your question, Vitamin D may be able to help with all of your problems, but it is not the ONLY reason that you are having all of these problems.

There are SO many reasons that you have all of the problems that you have- and to explain to you WHY you have them would take many many pages. But you need to understand that your lifestyle and poor eating habits have led you to where you are right now. It is NOT because you are unlucky or have bad genes. It is the way you live and the way that you eat!!

If you take responsibility for the fact that you got yourself to where you are right now, then you can believe that you can get well again. Do you want to get well? Are you willing to drastically change the way you live and eat to do that?

Well then, I highly encourage you to get Real Food Summit to learn about why the key to all of these health problems is learning to manage diet. It will be a drastic change for you, but with how sick you are, I don't think that you have any time to waste. This program will give you step by step instructions on how to change everything about your health in the next 90 days. And it has a 30 day money back guarantee, so you have nothing to lose.

Roberta, you are really ill and you have a chance to get better. Doctors will only manage your symptoms, but you will not get better from taking medications. Do you want your life to be better? Then it's time to make a choice for yourself. What do you choose, staying ill or getting well? I know that this sounds harsh, but doing more of what you have been doing can only be choosing illness.

If you choose to be well, let me know and I will be happy to support you in any way that I can.
