You have to go out in the sun..
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

I hate to tell you this, but no matter how much sun there is around you, you actually have to expose your skin to the sun in order to get vitamin d.

And no, Graves disease does NOT contribute to vitamin d deficiency, although the vitamin d deficiency COULD be contributing to your Graves Disease.

So, Graves Disease is an autoimmune disease and autoimmune diseases, despite what doctors say, is not a crazy overactive immune system, but an immune system that is PROPERLY responding!!!

What do I mean?

Your body's immune system is going crazy trying to protect you from something that has been introduced into your body. What is it responding to?

SEWAGE in your blood stream!!

If you take a look at my page on Increased Intestinal Permeability, you'll see that 'Leaky Gut Syndrome' is ALWAYS the UNDERLYING CAUSE of autoimmune disease.

And Gluten Sensitivity is almost always one of the major contributing factors to leaky gut syndrome.

So, while your doctor has told you that Graves is just some random problem that you can't do anything about, this is absolutely NOT true at all.

It has a definite cause and it has a solution, if you are interested in doing something about it.

Graves'
by: Ash Q

Hi Kerri, I was just diagnosed with Graves' and I am trying to research whatever I can to avoid taking medication forever and having surgery to remove my thyroid. I've read that Vitamin D deficiency may be a factor and gluten as well. Is there a certain diet I should look in to?

Gluten free diet

Yes, you can read my pages on:

Vitamin D Therapy

and

Gluten Sensitivity

then I would suggest that you get the Real Food Summit program and learn all you can about the relationship between food and disease. They even provide you sample meal plans as a bonus to get you started on your way to improving your health.
