Taking 50,000 ius vitamin d3 and Still Deficient

I have been taking 50,000 ius of vitamin d3 for over a year and I'm still vitamin d deficient. I believe it is at 13. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and arthritis. Help. What else can I use to up my d levels since the prescribed pills aren't working?
