Skin Problems from H pylori

by Lynn
(Houston, Texas)

I have had skin problems since I was young - keratosis pilaris, Dermatitis herpetiformis, sores on my scalp and the roof of my mouth and now exzema (?) behind my left ear. Could this be related to h-pylori?

Thank you
Lynn

Skin problems and H pylori
by: Kerri Knox, RN, The Immune Queen

Skin problems can be from a variety of things. And H pylori can cause a variety of symptoms. If you think that your skin problems might be from H pylori, then test your theory.

1) Get tested for H pylori
2) Get rid of it if you have it
3) Wait a few months
4) Get retested
5) Did you get rid of the H pylori.

If you had H pylori, you got rid of it, and your symptoms went away, then you determined that your symptoms are from H pylori.

There is no other way to determine this. YOu have a theory, so test the theory and find out if your theory is correct. If it is, AWESOME. If it's not, then move on to the next theory. SOMETHING is causing it. Find out what it is and fix it.
