Please Help With the Right Vitamin B12 Dosage

by Ranu

I found your site really informative. I was diagnosed with b-12 deficiency level in my blood. I had 127 count. My doctor thought it is a borderline case so he has put me on b-12 shots 1000 mcg every four weeks. Becuase as stated in your site, I do not feel or see any improvement, I started consuming sublingual tablets 1000 mcg every day.

Still I don,t see any improvement. The symptoms are more of neurological nature. Tingling sensation, burning sensation in arms and feets, ringing in ears etc. Do you think i should increase my consumption. You are so right by stating that doctor goes by numbers on paper. Please help.

Thanks a lot,

Ranu

Multiple Nutrient Deficiencies
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Hi Ranu,

You can read my page on Vitamin B12 Deficiency Treatment here to get a better idea of proper dosages of Vitamin B12 to help you out.

HOWEVER, I'm betting that vitamin b12 deficiency is not your only problem. It sounds like you might have multiple vitamin deficiencies.

Ringing in the ears is often a Sign of Magnesium Deficiency

Tingling and numbness is called Neuropathy and you can read my page on the Causes of Peripheral Neuropathy to learn more about the nutrient deficiencies associated with that.

And living in Canada and having other nutrient deficiencies, you almost surely have Vitamin D Deficiency and many of your symptoms could be due to that too.
