Normal Vitamin D Levels
by: Kerri Knox, RN-The Immune Health Queen!

Hi Carol,

If you haven't checked out my web page, Normal Vitamin D Levels, that may answer a lot of your questions about normal levels.

In general, most researchers recommend that Vitamin D Levels remain between about 40 to 60 ng/ml.

It's great that your Vitamin D Deficiency is being treated, but I'm questioning why you are not taking a maintenance dose to keep your levels within normal range.

Most people need to take about 3500 to 5000 IU's per day. After you get treated for this round of your deficiency, be sure to talk to your doctor about getting a maintenance dose of Vitamin D3.
