My Vitamin D count is high

by Joshua
(India)

I recently went to the ER as I was feeling very pulled down, lazy, no energy, feeling Nausea, feeling of fever, sweating in AC, body cramps, heavy breathing.

Apart from the heart and blood check up, the doc also tested me for Vitamin B12 and D.

Vitamin D (25 Hydroxy Cholecalciferol) is 67.17 ng/ml where as the range was 30-40.

Should I be worried? Read in some website that this can cause nodes in the blood. Also read that this might cause some kind of cancer.

Worried,
Joshua

Hi Joshua,

The paper that you got your levels on is WRONG, the 'normal' levels for vitamin d are between 40 to 80 ng/ml. Your vitamin d level is PERFECT. This is on my site many many many many times. Please look around my site and you'll find that answer.

What are the UNITS you are working in? 106 is not high if you are dealing in nmol/L.
