Is there a Holistic Cure for H.Pylori????

I have been diagnosed as having H.Pylori.

Will I have to eat only gluten free products now.
Is there a special diet for help to rid the body of the H. Pylori bacteria?

Hi Trish,

Unfortunately, there is no diet that will clear your body of the H pylori bacteria. There IS, however, a diet that will help your body improve your immune system so that when you DO treat your infection with whichever choice of treatments you choose, that it will give you the best chance of eliminating your infection the first time.

Interesting study reported in the journal, Cancer Prevention Research, points to sulforaphane - the chemical in broccoli and broccoli sprouts as a possible natural cure for H. Pylori bacteria.

[Kerri's Note: While it's certainly possible, these substances are very safe and they are known to help prevent cancer and to even reverse the HPV virus that causes cervical cancer, there are many well-tested natural substances that practitioners have been successfully using for decades to eradicate H pylori. In my opinion, stick to what's already known to work well to eradicate H pylori consistently since H pylori is often very difficult to eliminate.]
