vitamin D levels
by: Anonymous

My drs. nurse just called me with vitamin D levels, mine was 13. What is the normal range? I have know idea what this means. I do have high blood pressure and on meds for that. I went to her because I am very tired, somewhat depressed, my calfs ,legs and knees hurt. When sitting it is very hard to stand without pain and sometimes my legs hurt that it takes awhile to walk without pain. Laying down I get pain especially in my right calf and at times it hurts when I sit to long. She is putting me on a medication for 12 weeks, then wants me to take 2000 mg of vitamin D.

I am very confused about all of this. Is this a serious conditon? What are the symptons? Can this be why I am feeling this way?
