Hello

I have been told by the CELTIC SALT people that epsom salt has been processed so not as beneficial as celtic salt for a soak in the bath tub. Is this true

THANK YOU
Arline

Answer:

Hi Arline,

I've actually never even heard of Celtic Bath Salts, but I do recommend that people use Magnesium Bath Flakes.

I really don't know whether that is true or not, although I just always have my suspicions about Epsom Salts. On the package, Epsom Salts claim that they are even processed for ingestion- and they would have to be pretty pure for that. And people have been ingesting and bathing in Epsom Salts for decades.

But I don't have a good answer for you as to whether one is better than the other or why. You may want to email the company and ask them to provide research to back up their statements.
