Vitamin D Deficiency and Rash on the Face
by: Kerri Knox, RN-The Immune Queen!

Hi Diana,

I do not know of any connection between Vitamin D Deficiency and a rash on the face. I'm not sure where your co worker got that information, but if he knows, please pass it along to me. But what concerns me is that you talk about having Vitamin D Deficiency as if it were a chronic disease like Diabetes.

Vitamin D Deficiency is not a 'disease' that you 'manage', but a correctable problem. Even in the most severe cases, you should not have Vitamin D Deficiency for longer than 6 months or so. What are you doing to correct your deficiency? When is your next Vitamin D Blood Test?

Please get your deficiency corrected right away, there is no more reason for you to have a 'chronic vitamin D deficiency' than there is for you to have 'chronic scurvy'!!
