It as been 2 year of that. Before taking these medication I only had little gas here and there. but now when I woke up,even in the middle of the night, I am so dehydrated dry mouth I have to drink water or juice. C-Difficile Infection
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Hi John,

It's very possible that the antibiotics that you took led to an 'overgrowth' infection in your intestines called Antibiotic Colitis, which is the result of an infection called 'Clostridium Difficile'. While hardly anyone talks about this infection, studies have shown that up to 30% of hospitalized patients taking antibiotics get C Difficile infection from the antibiotics.

This can be a very serious infection and you should get tested to 'rule out' this infection. Diarrhea after antibiotics is the most common symptom.

You can get my Intestinal Pathogen Test which will test you for C Difficile as well as retest you for H pylori, which may never have been eradicated completely.
