Your Daughter
by: Kerri Knox, RN-The Immune Health Queen!

Hi Dash,

Well, this is a complicated situation. While your daughter would very likely have some benefit from magnesium, this is certainly not her ONLY problem. In fact, it's likely that she has multiple nutrient deficiencies and some gastrointestinal absorption problems- one of which may just be Celiac Disease.

You don't get ALL of those problems simply by being magnesium deficient, but you COULD have all of those problems from Celiac Disease and malabsorption.

Another problem here is that you are not likely to get her doctors' help. You can certainly talk to them about her taking more magnesium, and INSISTING that they do a Vitamin D Level and a Vitamin B 12 level. But don't count on it that your doctor is going to be supportive of any nutritional therapies.

But if your daughter is willing, she would DEFINITELY benefit from changing her diet, getting rid of the toxins in her environment and taking a few supplements.

I would suggest that as a first step, you get The Body Ecology Diet book. This is a must have book if you are trying to get well- and you might be able to just drop it off at your daughter's house one day and make her curious if she is not otherwise open to any natural healing.

Good luck Dash, Let me know how else that I can help.
