That's an OK Amount...

Hi Roza,

Yes, the amount of Vitamin D that you are getting is actually perfectly fine. Your Vitamin D Level is VERY low and so it needs to come up.

So, let me explain about Overdose on Vitamin D. It's not dependant on any particular AMOUNT that you take, but what your blood levels are. So, if someone with a HIGH blood level took 800,000 IU's, then they might become toxic.

But since you are starting out with a blood level that is extremely low, it will likely just bring your blood levels up to normal.


The only thing that is not quite right is that, I'm assuming, that your doctor wrote you a prescription for Vitamin D? Am I right? Well, researchers say that Prescription Vitamin D is not suitable for supplementation!!

So, you may want to consider taking Vitamin D3 Supplements at the same dose instead.
