Magnesium Deficiency
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Hi Anon,

Well, I suspect that from your reaction and the fact that you have been diagnosed with 'Fibromyalgia' that you are very magnesium deficient.

I know that you said that you tried it with 'calcium and magnesium', but if you are taking a 'calcium and magnesium' tablet then you are not getting very much magnesium at all and you probably have a HUGE relative deficit and need to remedy your deficiency which is being made considerably worse every time that you take vitamin d.

Please read my page on Fibromyalgia and Magnesium to see what I mean.

I would suggest that you 'Load up' on magnesium for a week or two using the instructions on the Magnesium Dosage page.

Just because you have fair skin doesn't mean that you shouldn't get any sun, it just means that you need to be more careful about burning. BURNING increases risk of skin cancer, but not regular moderate sunlight exposure.

Believe it or not, INDOOR workers get more MALIGNANT (meaning deadly) skin cancers than do outdoor workers who are constantly exposed to the sun. While you do have a higher risk of NON-MALIGNANT (meaning not deadly) skin cancers being fair skinned and getting sun exposure, non malignant skin cancers are not dangerous. But doctors lump all 'skin cancers' together instead of educating people as to which ones are dangerous and which ones are not.

In support of this, most malignant melanoma starts on places that don't even get exposed to the sun- the tops of the feet, the inner thighs. So, obviously these can't be due to sun exposure.

Your dermatologist will VEHEMENTLY disagree with this, but the evidence is there. And only you can decide if the risk of having a 'corpse like' vitamin d level- which increases your risk of breast cancer, colon cancer, fibromyalgia, autoimmune disease and diabetes- is worth the risk of non malignant skin cancers.

Anyway, just food for thought. You can read the ebook Scotland's Health Deficit (pdf file) for much more detailed information on this if it interests you.
