Could gluten sensitivity cause irregular heart rhythm?

I've been restricting gluten foods and then trying them again.

Just recently I tried them again and also began having heartbeat irregularities.

Could there be a connection or is it unlikely?

Thank you.

Gluten and heart rate
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

There is an alternative practitioner 'trick' to finding out if people have food allergies. And this 'trick' is to have people take their pulse before they eat, then eat a food that they are testing to see if they might have an allergy to.

If their pulse increases significantly, then they can presume that they probably have an allergy to that food and they should restrict it and reintroduce it at a later date to see how they feel.

It appears that you unknowingly did this test and gluten failed the pulse test for you!! So, really it's very likely that your high heart rate is a Symptom of Gluten Intolerance and you really should try going on a Gluten Intolerance Diet to avoid having problems in the future.

Your heart rate could ALSO be a Sign of Magnesium Deficiency as well.
