Carnitine Linked to Heart Problems?

I have read about some studies recently linking Carnitine with heart disease. Could you comment on that? By the way, love your very educational and well-informed site. Great work!

Carnitine Deficiency

Hi Dan,

I have heard of Carnitine DEFICIENCY being linked to heart problems. In fact, I have a page on it at my Heart Failure and Carnitine page. A quick search of heart problems and carnitine only shows positive effects from carnitine. There were no studies that I could find that showed carnitine supplements CAUSING any heart problems.
