bladder infection

I have a bladder infection now and am afraid to take an antibiotic. I have taken 2 doses of 1500mg of d-mannose. I am in pain. I may need to get an antibiotic. Which do you recommend now that I have been damaged by the levaquin?

Thanks,
Renee Sullivan

D-Mannose, Silver, before antibiotics.

Keep taking the D Mannose Two doses is hardly anything, you should at least give it one more day. There is a medicine that you can get at the drug store for the bladder pain. It's called 'Pyridium'. It will turn your urine DARK RED as a side effect, but that will go away once you stop. Wear a pad to keep your underwear from getting stained. But if you can get on Pyridium and wait another day on the D-Mannose, that is ideal.

You can also start on colloidal silver as well right away, even while you are on the D-Mannose. If that does not reduce your symptoms in a day or two, and you feel that you need antibiotics, then I would suggest getting Sulfa based antibiotics, although a lot of people are allergic to them. If you are not, then they are a better choice than the Quinolones.
