100% Whole Food D3

Hello,

I am interested in buying a D3 1000iu supplement sourced from lanolin and is in tablet form and comes from a very reputable company that only produces 100% Whole Food products. According to the company literature, it is the most bioavailable whole food form and delivers D3 with amino acids and sterols which act to catalyze utilization and replenish the body. This product contains an immune health blend with organic broccoli and a nourishing whole food blend with organic parsley, organic carrot, organic beet root and organic rice bran. So it has an organic whole foods blend, an immune blend and plant-sourced enzymes. The only other ingredient is vegetable cellulose. It is free of pesticides, herbicides, gluten, soy, dairy, corn, wheat, and nothing artificial or synthetic.

My question is would a product like this be better than a conventional D3 one can find in their local vitamin shop?. Before I was taking a capsule also derived from lanolin but it was in organic extra virgin olive oil and now that I ran out and need to buy again, I wanted to hear your thoughts.

Thanks very much!!!

I've Already Discussed this

Please see my page on Megafood Vitamins. I've talked to the company AT LENGTH and all of my correspondance with them is there. I do not recommend them and wouldn't trust them as far as I can throw them because they lie on their advertisements saying that their vitamin d is 'more bioavailable' than other vitamin d's when they have no studies of this whatsoever.

In fact, they claim that it's vitamin d3 without any evidence of that either. They couldn't even explain to me WHY they would feed lanolin based D3 to yeast in the first place when vitamin D3 from lanolin is already bioidentical and bioavailable to human bodies!!

Their claims are misleading and potentially false and they simply make inane claims such as that their vitamins are 100% whole food- yet lanolin doesn't come from food!

Don't trust them, just get a no oil vitamin d. If you really feel the need to have a 'whole food vitamin d', which I'm not sure why you would, but if you do feel that need, then you can take Vegan D3 From Lichen. It truly is 'whole food' from lichen. It's also the only truly vegan vitamin D3.
