Vitamin D and Fibromyalgia
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Hi Jody,

If you respond to this, I would appreciate it if you didn't use the ALL CAPS function as it's very hard to read.

OK, so first of all, Fibromyalgia is not a cause of pain because Fibromyalgia is a made up name for a collection of symptoms and so therefore can't 'cause' anything! Please read my pages on:

Fibromyalgia Syndrome vs. Disease

and

Symptoms of Fibromyalgia

to see what I'm talking about.

So, getting your vitamin d deficiency taken care of is a good first start, but it also sounds like you have many Signs of Magnesium Deficiency. And what other deficiencies do you have that your doctor has not tested you for?

And how about heavy metal toxicity? Did anyone test you for that?

How about the H Pylori Bacteria? How about for Gluten Sensitivity?

There are a LOT of things that could be contributing to your pain, and there is usually not one isolated Fibromyalgia Cause, but a collection of many years of environmental, dietary, emotional and activity issues that combine with your personal genetics to make you have these symptoms.

So, you CAN get better, but it's not likely to to happen by taking one pill for 8 weeks. There's going to be more to it than that...
