Just take supplements

Hi Karen,

I do not know that using vitamin d tanning beds is the 'best' way to get your vitamin d, it's ONE way and it's effective. But is it the BEST? I don't know about that.

I do not know that there ARE any 'infrared' lights or other light bulbs that will mimic the effects of a vitamin d tanning bed.

If you cannot afford a tanning bed, why not just take supplements? They are effective, readily available and affordable. Unless you are one of like the one person in 10,000 who is unable to take vitamin d supplements for whatever reason, there is no reason not to simply take supplements if you can't afford a vitamin d tanning bed.

Vitamin D

Just wanted to chime in on your concern on Vitamin D therapy beds. There are very few places that offer this. They say it is better for your body to get vitamin D from the sun-so the next best thing would be to use a vitamin D therapy bed. This is so true-Taking pill form can cause an overload in your system and put calcium in the wrong place, like kidney stone formation. Cant wait to open a business with these beds. People need to use natural (or closest to)natural sun light as possible, to increase deficient Vitamin D levels. It is fact, that 77% of the people in U.S. are deficient. So have a sunshiny day.
