Vitamin D and Hypoparathyroidism..
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Hi Cecille,

You have some CRAZY doctor who don't know anything about vitamin d and are frightening you completely needlessly.

While I have no idea if you have cancer or not, some doctor simply speculating that you might have cancer because your vitamin d level is low is absolutely ridiculous. That doctor should check his own vitamin d level to see how low it is.

You are right, low vitamin d levels for long periods of time is a risk factor for many cancers, but cancer doesn't cause vitamin d deficiency and unless they have another reason to think that you might have cancer, then please relax and forget that your doctor said that.

So, back to your other problems. It is AMAZINGLY clear that you simply are really really magnesium deficient. You have something like 10 Signs of Magnesium Deficiency:

Ringing in the ears
Insomnia
Muscle Twitching

are all signs of magnesium deficiency. But the BIGGEST clue is that your symptoms got worse when you took vitamin d. If you take a look at my page on Magnesium and Vitamin D, you'll see that vitamin d 'uses up' magnesium and makes symptoms of magnesium deficiency worse!!

I see it ALL THE TIME with people given this high dose vitamin d. So, all that you need to do is to follow the instructions on the Magnesium Dosage page for a few weeks and I'm going to bet that a lot of your symptoms improve.

So, give that a try for a couple of weeks using the HIGH DOSE magnesium that I suggest and let us know how you feel. Once you are feeling better then start up your vitamin d again. I'm so sorry that you had to go through all of that fear and unnecessary testing to find out that magnesium and vitamin d deficiencies are the cause of these problems.
