I would like to know what is the safe level of Vitamin D in the blood. what is the correct reading range for a women in her 50's?

More About Vitamin D


There is absolutely no difference for blood levels for women, men or children. Everyone should have blood levels between

40 - 80 ng/ml

OR

140 - 279 nm/L


depending upon the units that your laboratory has used. The US usually uses the first one, everyone else seems to use the second one.
