Reoccurring H Pylori

by Stephanie
(Texas)

My sister was diagnosed with h pylori over 2 months ago she was given antibiotics to kill the infection. After she completed the course of antibiotics she felt better for about 3 weeks after those 3 weeks she started getting sick again feeling the same symptoms she felt when she first got diagnosed with h pylori.

My question is is there anything that can be given to her so she can beat this infection out of her system besides the antibiotics which clearly probably didnt even work to eliminate all of the infection.

H Pylori Eradication
by: Kerri Knox, RN, The Immune Queen

Hi Stephanie,

Well, there are a couple of things that could be going on, but first, she needs to get an H pylori Stool Test, and it specifically needs to be a stool test and not a blood test, in order to see if she does, indeed, still have h pylori.

It's quite possible that the antibiotics she took got rid of her H pylori, but caused another infection such as Intestinal Candida or C-Difficile Infection that are now causing her symptoms.

Or, depending upon what antibiotic she was given, she could also be having Fluoroquinolone Toxicity.

Also, there could be someone in the family who is has it and doesn't have any symptoms, and gave it back to her.

Having said that, H Pylori Eradication fails in about 1/3 of people, for various reasons, including that their immune system is not strong enough to help the antibiotics fight the infection.

So, that is why I've developed The H Pylori Solution, an entire program to help you get rid of H pylori once and for all. It addresses all of the causes as to WHY people don't get rid of H pylori and solves them. Click the link above to see more about the program.
