I think that NOW products are decent products. BUT, the reason that I don't recommend Vitamin D in olive oil is that olive oil can go rancid. I've seen it many times and then people have a reaction to their capsules and think that they have a 'Vitamin D allergy' when its really just the rancid oil.
Even it the product itself has a date on it, you have no idea how long the olive oil was sitting around before it was made into pills. When you buy olive oil in the store, it tells you the quality and where it is from and you can open it up and smell it when you get home, but you don't know any of that when it's in your vitamin D.
So, that's why I recommend Vitamin D in a 'dry' base of no oil at all (but you must take it with fat in your food) or in a coconut oil base that does not go rancid (coconut oil is a good for you saturated fat and may also be called 'MCT' on a bottle for medium chain triglycerides).
