MS and Vitamin D3

by Alice Nyberg
(Hibbing, MN)

I have been diagnosed with MS since 1994. I am 50 years old and live in Minnesota. I am currently taking 2,000 IU per day of Vitamin D3. Is that a sufficient amount to be taking? What's the connection between MS and Vitamin D?

Please also get the free Fact Sheet on Vitamin D that you see on the right side of every page as this will answer most of your questions.

I'd also suggest you get The Wahls Protocol: A Radical New Way to Treat All Chronic Autoimmune Conditions Using Paleo Principles. It was written by a medical doctor who reversed her own MS after having traditional medicine fail her, leaving her completely disabled despite doing all of the 'cutting edge' medical treatments.
