Is it Safe to Avoid Gluten

I just stumbled upon this page in searching for cause(s) of my MANY physical symptoms.

My doctor says it's nothing, but my body says something IS wrong!

Mental fog, back pain, hip pain, joint pain, body aches, exhaustion regardless of sleeping completely through the night, slow digestion, depression, weight gain. . . I am at my wits end.

I've always been healthy, and I basically still am healthy, but every extremity hurts, from my fingers to my toes. If I could rid myself of this pain, I could handle everything else.

I am on an bupropion for depression, Armour thyroid for hypothyroidism, pain medicine due to back pain, all of which help a little because when I'm off of them, my symptoms increase exponentially.

I want to get to the CAUSE of my health issues listed above, so am wondering if I could safely avoid gluten for any amount of time to see if my symptoms go away? I am willing to try, but don't want to cause more problems.

Safety of avoiding gluten

Sorry to hear about all of your issues with pain. First of all, you should download my book, 'The Essential Guide to Lasting Pain Relief' that you will get free when you confirm your email subscription.

I suspect that gluten is going to be part of your problem, but that many of your symptoms are also Symptoms of Vitamin D Deficiency and other nutritional deficiencies as well.

So, please download the book and follow ALL of the instructions in it carefully and I would expect that your pain will at least be improved significantly.

Now about gluten. It's VERY interesting to me that you are not sure whether it's 'Safe' to avoid gluten. This tells me what a great job the 'establishment' has done to brainwash us that grains are good for us.

Humankind didn't even HAVE grains in any significant amount until a few thousand years ago. And many cultures weren't exposed to gluten containing grains until the last 50 years!! And in fact, the majority of the last remaining peoples that didn't have contact with the outside world until the 1900's still didn't have gluten containing grains.

And since gluten containing grains originated in Europe, the American continent didn't even have gluten until it was brought with Columbus and the Conquistadors.

So, is it safe to avoid something that 95% of the population of the world has only been exposed to for 1/100,000 th of the period of our evolution? I can be pretty sure that it is.

Give it a trial (make sure that the trial included 100% avoidance) and follow the instructions in the book. And let us know how things are going.
