Half the WORLD had H pylori too
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Half of the WORLD has H pylori and probably the VAST majority of your patients have H pylori.

Unless you have a policy at work to screen everyone that comes into contact with patients and for all of the patients to be screened for H pylori (you don't, trust me on this), then there is no ethical, moral or bacterial reason for you to stay home.

How many years have you had H pylori that you didn't know about it?? You've possibly had it for decades now!! Did you stay home all of those years and decades that you had it??

So why would you stay home now!!

People reading this- PLEASE do not do anything different when you find out that you have H pylori. Don't stop kissing your children. Don't stay home from work. You do not have a 'disease', you have a bacteria.

EVERYONE will be exposed to H pylori THOUSANDS of times in their lifetime!! Some people will have H pylori for decades without having symptoms and expose tens of thousands of people throughout their lives. Some people have BEEN exposed tens of thousands of times and have never had it.
