high hematocrit and high MCV

I am a 53 year old female I just received blood test results. My Hematocrit level was 44.8 and my MCV level was 99. test says this is high should I be concerned?

I don't know what's wrong with you

Laboratory values stated 'in isolation', meaning by themselves without knowing anything else about you, mean little to nothing. These test results can mean ANYTHING on a range from:

* They are entirely incorrect lab results (labs often make errors when drawing blood and/or processing the blood)
* You were dehydrated when you had blood drawn
* You have very serious health conditions that you may need to be treated for life

or ANYWHERE on this scale. Without knowing more, there is no way anyone can tell you what those test results mean- or whether they are even significant to you in the slightest way...
