High Calcium Level in Blood

Dr tells me not to take caluim pills which I don't because my calcium is borderline high in my blood but I take vitamin b 12 because I was anemic at one time. I think taking vitamin b12 is the problem.

High Calcium and B12
by: Kerri Knox, RN, The Immune Queen

High calcium is not a result of taking Vitamin B12. If you have High Calcium Levels, then you need to read the information on Parathyroid.com.

And if you had Macrocytic Anemia at one time, you possibly have some form of Vitamin B12 Malabsorption that you need to address.

You don't get macrocytic anemia requiring Vitamin B12 for no reason. Taking Vitamin B12 might fix the SYMPTOM, but it doesn't address the reason why you had low Vitamin B12 in the first place.
