Side Effects of Vitamin D
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Hi Lee,

More About Vitamin D

If you'll read my page on Side Effects of Vitamin D, you'll see that your symptoms are very likely to be Signs of Magnesium Deficiency.

Just follow the instructions on my Magnesium Dosage page and this will be likely to solve your problem. Everyone ALWAYS needs to take magnesium when they take vitamin d in order to solve these problems.

In fact, in order to cover all your bases, I always recommend an entire Vitamin D Absorption Pack in addition to single targeted supplements in order to avoid problems like these from single nutrients and to give you all of the vitamin D cofactors you need.

Nutrients work in synergy with each other. Few people are deficient in ONE nutrient and your symptoms tell me that you likely had a subclinical magnesium deficiency that was provoked further when you took the vitamin d. With your other symptoms, what other nutrients are you deficient in?

I am stopping, hopefully I will get better

You aren't interested in the actual solution

Hi Susan,

So, if you were to read the thread again, there is an actual reason why you are having these headaches and sore muscles AND there is a solution there as well.

Are you not interested in an actual solution to this problem that you are experiencing? If you are not, it's likely that you are going to go on and experience long term problems with magnesium deficiency as well, because I guarantee that you are moderately to severely magnesium deficient.

And by just stopping your vitamin d and hoping that your magnesium deficiency symptoms are going to go away, you are asking for problems like heart disease and osteoporosis down the line- both problems of long term magnesium and Vitamin D deficiency..

But- if you just want to stop the vitamin d instead of fixing your actual problem that could have serious consequences down the line, that's certainly one option... not a smart one, but an option nonetheless.
