foot and hip cramps

I have had a sore hip which contracts into a seizure cramp and I have suffered from cramp in my foot. The foot cramps used to be only at night but now niggling during the day.

also. The glute/hip cramp was sporadic mainly triggered form a jerky movement or just the position I got into like sitting on the floor on my bottom both legs sideways. They always happened separately up until the last few weeks and its a trouble now having both at the same time. Hip one happening more during the day now.

Can this be linked, I would like to know if there is a link between them or not? Its can prevent me from doing things at times. I am nervous about the hip/glute cramp as it actually makes me freeze on the spot and when I am bodybalance classes I have to be very aware to read what my body is telling me to be ready to self correct to try and prevent a spasm.
