Fibromyalgia Most of My Life

by Deborah
(Australia)

I have fibromyalgia and have it most of my life i would say as have had all symptoms for so many years that I have lost track of how long I've had it.I am now 49 and my pain is extreme acute at times as it seems to come in cycles. I lead a very healthy lifestyle due to the fact I have to otherwise i couldn't cope.

I eat well, rest as much as I can when needed my sleep is poor but better than it used to be. I exercise but stop when pain is acute as I have no choice and I get regular massages. I don't take supplements as I honestly don't know what and how much to take. I have been on anti depressant medication for 10 years now and it seems to help but not the full answer. So what do you recommend that I do knowing all the above?

I live in melbourne, australia
I am looking forward to hearing from you

This is a VERY broad question
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Hi Deborah,

Your question is EXTREMELY broad and so I don't know how to answer other than to send you to my pages on Fibromyalgia to do some research. So please read my pages on:

Fibromyalgia Cause

and

Fibromyalgia and Vitamin D

and please keep reading some of the many blue underlined links that lead to pages with more information about the underlined topic. Then you can start trying a few things to help yourself and THEN ask some more specific questions on those topics. But asking a question like: What do I do for this condition that I've had my whole life, when I have at least 20 different pages and hundreds of suggestions is just simply far too vague for me to be able to answer.
