Fibromyalgia and Panic Attacks

by Gilly

I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia about 2 years ago. I started taking panic attacks just about the same time. I read that they are an emotional side effect of fibromyalgia.

Is this true?

Fibromyalgia is changing my life for the worst. I look forward to hearing from you.

Fibromyalgia doesn't cause panic attacks
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Hi Gilly,

So, you are missing the point about Fibromyalgia. Fibromyalgia can't cause ANYTHING, because it's a symptom too. Symptoms don't cause symptoms, something else causes symptoms.

So, a better question for you to ask would be, "What is causing me to have all both all over body pain and panic attacks."

One of the first things that comes to my mind in answer to this question is magnesium deficiency. I encourage you to read my pages on:

Signs of Magnesium Deficiency

and

Fibromyalgia and Magnesium.

Once you begin to see that Fibromyalgia is caused BY something, then you can begin to find out those causes. You are probably EXTREMELY magnesium deficient and would likely benefit greatly from high dose magnesium as I outline in those pages.
