Falling D3 levels

I have been taking 10,000IU of vit. d3 for 1 yr. in an effort to raise my level which was at 20. The first time i had my blood checked it had risen to 45. recent test has showed my level to be dropping even though I'm still taking the same amount. What may be causing the reversal?

I am a cancer survivor an was on chemo three years ago.

I am currently taking Levothyroxine.
Thanks Woodrow

Suspicions about your falling vitamin d3 levels
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

Hi Woodrow,

Can you tell me what all 3 of your levels have been: ie: the first one that was low, the middle one that you said was rising and then the lower one and include the month that they were done.

I suspect that the middle one was rising because it was summer or the end of summer and you were getting or had just finished getting sun exposure in the summer. And I suspect that your most recent one is because it's been several months since summer and you are not getting sun any more..

Let me know...
