Could I get reinfected with H Pylori after 8 months of eradication?

So, I did the triple therapy for the eradication on January 2012. But now I am suspecting of a reinfection because of some symptoms such as gastric pain before my period and bad breath.

Therefore I am hoping that I these crazy premenstrual pains will stop soon, even that I am worried of any reinfection.

You Can Get Reinfected Anytime
by: Kerri Knox, RN- The Immune Queen!

You can get reinfected 8 years or even 8 decades after you go through eradication. But you could also have never eradicated it in the first place. Eradication therapy fails at high rates, and the rates get higher as time goes on and more and more strains get resistant to more and more bacteria.

So, in all likelihood, unless you actually tested negative after your eradication, you never eliminated the H pylori in the first place. This is very common and some people do eradication therapy 3 and 4 times before actually getting rid of their infection. And even then, you can get reinfected by your family who might not even have symptoms.

I go over all of this in my book The H Pylori Solution which teaches you how to get rid of H pylori the first time, and how to make sure it stays away for good.
