Vitamin D deficiency
by: Torchy

I have had an irratating skin rash for nearly a year and the specialists cannot find a reason.
We had a hot spell of weather so I spent a lot of time sat in the sun. Subsequently the rash faded, especially in the areas which were tanned.

The weather started to deterioarate about six weeks ago and the rash returned with a vengeance but only in the areas that were not tanned. At this time the rash has started to appear on the tanned areas of my body.

A colleague told me that an associate of hers had a very similar problem, she went to her GP who considered that it could be a vitamin D deficiency and after taking a course of tablets for two weeks the rash has significantly faded.

Personally, I will try any thing as my rash has had a serious affect on my life.
